edici\u00f3n do Simposio de Investigaci\u00f3ns Agrarias e Alimentarias do Grupo AA1 celebrouse este venres d\u00eda 28 de novembro no Citexvi, reunindo m\u00e1is unha vez ao estudantado predoutoral e \u00e1 equipa de investigaci\u00f3n posdoutoral do grupo AA1 nun foro que contin\u00faa a medrar e a consolidarse nesta segunda edici\u00f3n, despois de terse iniciado no ano 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despois das dezaoito presentaci\u00f3ns reunidas na edici\u00f3n anterior, organizada na Facultade de Ciencias do Campus de Ourense, este ano conseguiuse dar un paso m\u00e1is, pois foron vintecatro os doutorandos e doutorandas que presentaron os seus avances cient\u00edficos, aos que se engadiu unha sesi\u00f3n de p\u00f3ster protagonizada por investigadoras do Laboratorio Europeo de Referencia para Biotoxinas Mari\u00f1as (EURLMB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As investigaci\u00f3ns presentadas trataron temas como o illamento e avaliaci\u00f3n de compostos bioactivos a partir de algas; a validaci\u00f3n en modelos <em>in vivo<\/em> e <em>in vitro<\/em> de efectos antioxidantes, inmunomoduladores ou relacionados coa obesidade; o uso t\u00e9cnicas anal\u00edticas avanzadas (GC\/LC-MS) e ferramentas de intelixencia artificial para a caracterizaci\u00f3n de nutrac\u00e9uticos e contaminantes; ou diversos est\u00e9cnicas anal\u00edticas avanzadas (GC\/LC-MS) e ferramentas de aprendizaxe, permitindo ao persoal investigador m\u00e1is novo ga\u00f1ar experiencia en comunicaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, recibir cr\u00edticas constructivas e establecer conexi\u00f3ns entre grupos de traballo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A celebraci\u00f3n deste segundo simposio chega nun momento especialmente relevante para a Universidade de Vigo, recentemente reco\u00f1ecida polo ShanghaiRanking of the University of Vigo (GL\/EN)<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The second edition of the Agricultural and Food Research Symposium of the AA1 Group was held this Friday, 28th November, at Citexvi, bringing together once again the pre-doctoral students and the post-doctoral research team of the AA1 group in a forum that continues to grow and consolidate in this second edition, having been initiated in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the eighteen presentations from the previous edition, held at the Faculty of Sciences on the Ourense Campus, this year saw a further step forward, with twenty-four doctoral students presenting their scientific advances, which were supplemented by a poster session featuring researchers from the European Reference Laboratory for Marine Biotoxins (EURLMB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The research presented covered topics such as the isolation and evaluation of bioactive compounds from algae; the validation in in vivo and in vitro models of antioxidant, immunomodulatory or obesity-related effects; the use of advanced analytical techniques (GC\/LC-MS) and advanced analytical techniques (GC\/LC-MS) and artificial intelligence tools for the first edition, the organisers emphasised the importance of the format as a learning space, allowing younger researchers to gain experience in scientific communication, receive constructive criticism and establish connections between working groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The celebration of this second symposium comes at a particularly significant moment for the University of Vigo, recently recognised by the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy as the top Spanish university and 17th in the world in the field of Food Science and Technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter
