Estes indicadores son, entre outros:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>N\u00famero de ga\u00f1adores de premios Nobel e medallas Fields (equivalente ao Nobel matem\u00e1tico).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00famero de investigadores altamente citados segundo Clarivate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00famero de artigos publicados en revistas de Nature e Science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N\u00famero de artigos indexados no Science Citation Index &#8211; Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Desempe\u00f1o da universidade per capita.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada nova edici\u00f3n do Shanghai Ranking considera ao redor de 1800 universidades de todo o mundo, de entre as cales p\u00fablicanse os resultados das mil mellores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No 2025, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/\">Universidade de Vigo<\/a> conseguiu grandes resultados na \u00e1rea de Ciencia e Tecnolox\u00eda dos Alimentos, ao aparecer en terceira posici\u00f3n a nivel europeo, en primeira posici\u00f3n a nivel espa\u00f1ol e sendo considerada a n\u00famero 17 a nivel global, o que sup\u00f3n un pulo importante para o prestixio dos programas de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/estudar\/que-estudar\/estudos-grao\/grao-ciencia-tecnoloxia-alimentos-o01g041v01\">Grao en Ciencia e Tecnolox\u00eda dos Alimentos<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/estudar\/que-estudar\/mestrados\/master-universitario-ciencia-tecnoloxia-agroalimentaria-ambiental-o01m142v01\">M\u00e1ster Universitario en Ciencia e Tecnolox\u00eda Agroalimentaria e Ambiental<\/a> e o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/estudar\/que-estudar\/doutoramento\/programa-doutoramento-ciencia-tecnoloxia-agroalimentaria-o01d011v06\">Programa de Doutoramento en Ciencia e Tecnolox\u00eda Agroalimentaria<\/a> da Universidade de Vigo, con grande participaci\u00f3n do noso grupo de investigaci\u00f3n tanto no profesorado como na investigaci\u00f3n relacionada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"544\" src=\"https:\/\/aa1.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2-1024x544.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2525\" srcset=\"https:\/\/aa1.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2-1024x544.png 1024w, https:\/\/aa1.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2-300x159.png 300w, https:\/\/aa1.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2-768x408.png 768w, https:\/\/aa1.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-2.png 1043w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Resultados acadados pola UVigo no ranking de Shanghai, onde se identifica como a mellor 17 do mundo en Ciencia e Tecnolox\u00eda dos Alimentos \/ Results achieved by UVigo at the Shanghai Ranking, where it is displayed as #17 in Food Science &amp; Technology<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-c59992ef\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">University of Vigo, in the top 3 in Europe for Food Science and Technology according to the Shanghai Ranking<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>ShanghaiRanking Consultancy today, 18th November, published the new edition of its own global university ranking, the famous Shanghai Ranking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The list, first published in 2003 and owned by the independent firm since 2009, considers a series of indicators that allow universities to be ranked globally according to their performance. These indicators are, among others:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Number of Nobel Prize and Fields Medal winners (the equivalent of the mathematics Nobel Prize).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of highly cited researchers according to Clarivate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of articles published in the journals Nature and Science.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Number of articles indexed in the Science Citation Index &#8211; Expanded and Social Sciences Citation Index.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Per capita performance of the university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each new edition of the Shanghai Ranking considers around 1,800 universities from all over the world, from which the results for the top 1,000 are published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2025, the University of Vigo achieved great results in the field of Food Science and Technology, ranking third in Europe, first in Spain and being considered 17th globally, which represents a significant boost to the prestige of the University of Vigo&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/en\/study\/what-study\/undergraduate-programs\/grao-ciencia-tecnoloxia-alimentos-o01g041v01\">undergraduate programmes in Food Science and Technology<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/en\/study\/what-study\/masters\/master-universitario-ciencia-tecnoloxia-agroalimentaria-ambiental-o01m142v01\">Master&#8217;s in Agro-Food and Environmental Science and Technology<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uvigo.gal\/en\/study\/what-study\/doctorate\/programa-doutoramento-ciencia-tecnoloxia-agroalimentaria-o01d011v06\">Doctoral Programme in Agro-Food Science and Technology<\/a>, with significant participation from our research group in both the teaching staff and the related research.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ShanghaiRanking Consultancy publicou hoxe, 18 de novembro, a nova edici\u00f3n da s\u00faa particular lista global de universidades, o famoso ShanghaiRanking.
